2018 Storefront Challenge
Posted by Community Design Collaborative on August 27, 2018
Nominate a business for the 2018 Storefront Challenge — our citywide contest recognizing Philly’s best storefront facade improvement projects!
Now in its tenth year, the Storefront Challenge honors businesses for reinvesting in their storefront facades and demonstrating that good design is good business. The winning businesses will be revealed at a special DesignPhiladelphia event attended by Mayor Jim Kenney.
Whether you’ve been wowed by a new sign, a great paint combo, or a total makeover… we want to know! Business owners, property owners, customers, residents, community organizations, designers, and contractors may submit a nomination. Any Philly storefront renovated between October 2016 and September 2018 is eligible for the following awards:
Best Sign | Best Awning | Best Use of Paint | Best Window Display | Highest Impact for Lowest Cost | Best Historic Renovation | Biggest Transformation
Nominations are due Friday, September 7, 2018.
