2018 Campus Compact National Conference – True Stories of Engagement: Higher Education for Democracy to be held March 25-28, 2018 in Indianapolis, IN
Learning, sharing, dialogue, and connection among people linking campuses to communities for the public good.
Higher Education’s role in the work of democracy has never been more important or more contested than it is right now. Our stories are grounded in evidence derived from experience and from systematic investigation, and they are infused with the commitment of higher education to the pursuit of truth.
We will:
- Come together to hear and to tell the stories of that work.
- Learn from each other about the practice of bringing people together across differences in pursuit of shared values and goals.
- Challenge ourselves to understand how we can more effectively communicate to a broader public the part higher education plays in creating the communities and the country we seek.
- Build a diverse web of faculty, staff, administrators, students, and partners committed to higher education’s public purposes.
* Member Rate: $499
* Non-Member Rate: $599
* Group Rate (3+ registrants): $449/person
* Student Rate: $375
*Registration includes breakfast and lunch each day of the conference.
