Seeking the next generation of immersion scientists!
Students who are entering 8th, 9th, or 10th grade in the 2017-2018 academic year (ages 13 to 15) and are interested in learning more about the field of scientific (cancer) research are encouraged to apply for this cost-free summer science program.
Participants engage in collaborative learning for the week-long science experience camp. In addition to boot camp basics and introduction to bench-work, students hear from speakers in various STEM fields and present their findings during a mini-poster session. (Family and friends are welcome to attend and ask questions about the posters)
Co-Hosted by Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Immersion Science Program and Montgomery County Community College’s STEM Division.
