Registration Is Now OPEN for NCCD’s 2016 Conference on Children, Youth, and Families
Come spend a few days in sunny southern California! Register now for the NCCD Conference on Children, Youth, and Families. The conference will take place October 4–6, 2016, in Orange County, CA. This conference is a platform for professionals in the child welfare, juvenile justice, and education fields to share new and innovative programs and research related to systems that serve children, youth, and families.
This year’s conference includes several new and exciting events:
- Making a Murderer creators Moira Demos and Laura Ricciardi will join us to accept the 2016 Distinguished Achievement Award;
- Dr. William C. Bell, President and CEO of Casey Family Programs, will deliver the keynote address;
- A hosted screening of the Fusion documentary Prison Kids, followed by a discussion including participants featured in the film;
- Pre-conference sessions, including a full-day workshop with world-renowned child welfare practice expert Nicki Weld;
- Plenty of networking and socializing opportunities; and
- More to come!
