2015 Summer Reading Grants

The Summer Reading Teen Intern Grant will award $1,000 to each of 20 libraries for the purpose of hiring summer teen interns to assist with summer reading activities. The Summer Reading Resources Grant will award $1,000 to each of 20 libraries in need with the purpose of helping them purchase resources to bolster their teen summer reading program.
Eligible applicants can apply now through January 1, 2015. Recipients will be notified during the week of February 16, 2015. An official announcement via press release will be released the following month.
To determine if you are eligible, you must answer yes to the following questions:
- Is your summer reading program administered through a library?
- Is your program open to all teens in the community?
- Do you work directly with teens?
- Are you a personal member of YALSA? (To join, click here)
