2014 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards
Deadline: November 5
Students in grades 5-12 who have volunteered in the past 12 months are invited to apply. Applications must be submitted to a middle level or high school principal or the head of a local Girl Scout council, county 4-H group, American Red Cross chapter, YMCA or HandsOn Network affiliate. State Honorees will each receive $1,000, a silver medallion, and an all-expense-paid trip with a parent to the nation’s capital. Ten National Honorees will receive $5,000, gold medallions, crystal trophies for display at their schools or service organizations, and $5,000 grants from The Prudential Foundation for nonprofit charitable organizations of their choice.
