October 16-18, 2013 | Harrisburg, Pa.
Plan now to attend the 2013 Migrant Education Program and English as a Second Language Conference “Education without Borders: Pursuing Excellence and Exploring Possibilities.” During this conference, participants will learn: promising practices for schools to ensure school success for migrant students; methods to build capacity and support literacy development; parent engagement strategies; educational and support services addressing migrant students’ special needs; and strategies for identification and recruitment of migrant students.
English Language Learners instructors, school districts, intermediate unit, private school, charter school, nonpublic school, and career and technical center personnel, parents, community organizations and agencies and Migrant
Education Program staff are encouraged to attend.
The conference will be held at the Hilton Harrisburg.
