About Our Institutes CWI’s Summer WEST and Summer EAST Institutes are facilitated by veteran CWI faculty members. Both Institutes focus on curriculum and program design, using field tested service-learning best practices and principles of sustainability. Our common goal is to engage K-16 students in academically based service that contributes to sustainable communities. We emphasize both an instructional and ‘site level” focus, with follow-up support available. You may register online or use the printable brochure with mail in registration form.
