2013 College Access Forum & Walk the Hill (PACAC)
Posted by on April 15, 2013
Pennsylvania Association for College Admissions Counseling (PACAC) is holding its 2013 College Access Forum and Walk the Hill in Harrisburg, PA
on
Monday, May 20 and Tuesday, May 21, 2013
The forum is a premier event where colleagues will come together to discuss what access looks like in Pennsylvania, now and in the future. The professional development and training sessions are designed to introduce policy in straightforward terms and can serve as the background needed to understand the issues and prepare to “walk the hill.” Past sessions, led by representatives from the Governor’s Commission on Education, Senate and House Education Committee members, and other education policy leaders in Pennsylvania, have developed PACAC’s voice and initiatives, leaving newcomers to education policy and veterans alike energized to promote post-secondary options for our students.
This year’s College Access and Completion Forum will be on Monday, May 20 and we will “Walk the Hill” – meet some of our state representatives – on Tuesday, May 21. We hope that you will be able to attend both events. However, if your schedule only permits one day, please choose the event that best fits your schedule.
Registration is available online for the event at https://pacac.org/event/college-access-forum-2013
