2012 State of Child Welfare report
Posted by on December 17, 2012
The high-profile events of the last year, combined with the recent recommendations from Pennsylvania’s Task Force on Child Protection, clearly have elevated public policy discussions about child abuse and the commonwealth’s child welfare system. Recently, Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children released its 2012 State of Child Welfare report, which provides data and insight into how Pennsylvania’s child welfare system is performing at the state and local levels. Our report can be an important resource for policymakers and others to consider when examining the critically important issue of keeping our children safe.
