DVAEYC hosts early childhood conference
The Delaware Valley Association for the Education of Young Children will host its 2012 Early Childhood Conference with the theme, Family Matters: Engaging Families, Partnering for Success. The conference will focus on the proven value of parents and early childhood education professionals working together to foster a child’s strongest potential and development.
Families and caregivers often face the same challenges and milestones – making it critical that they collaborate to boost quality learning at this most important, earliest phase of a child’s education. As the community struggles with ongoing state and federal cuts to ECE programs, this topic is particularly timely as it relates to maximizing existing resources.
More than 2,000 attendees are expected at DVAEYC’s Annual Conference, which is presented by PNC Grow Up Great and has been the premier early childhood professional development event in the region for more than 40 years.
The conference will take place on May 11th and 12th at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 1101 Arch Street in Philadelphia.
