Inglis Fund supports programs for the physically disabled
The Inglis Foundation is accepting applications for the 2010 Inglis Awards for Continuing Excellence.
Now in its fifth year, the awards program honors not-for-profit organizations in the Philadelphia region that enhance the quality of life and increase opportunities for independence for people with physical disabilities.
The objectives and eligibility criteria have been expanded for 2010. For the first time, organizations serving populations of adults or children with multiple disabilities that include physical or mobility disabilities will be considered.
The awards of up to $20,000 each recognize the effectiveness and innovation of not-for-profit organizations providing direct services, products and/or advocacy for people with physical disabilities in the Philadelphia region. Award winners will be announced in May 2010 and honored at a June 2010 ceremony.
The deadline for applications is Monday, December 7th. For application instructions and forms, click here (http://www.inglis.org/) or email [email protected] or call 215-581-0707.
