Speaker Spotlight: Geoffrey Canada, President & CEO, Harlem Children’s Zone
Geoffrey CanadaGeoffrey Canada will speak on Improving the Lives of Children at 1:30 p.m. on October 24. Through his work at the Harlem Children’s Zone, Mr. Canada has indeed helped improve the lives and health of thousands of children by teaching them about proper nutrition and exercise, providing immunizations, offering parenting classes to help improve their home environment, and reducing risk factors so they can perform better in school.
Mr. Canada grew up in the South Bronx and has dedicated his life to helping children and families secure both educational and economic opportunities. From his experiences, learn how you can affect policy change in your community!
