2008 Community All-Star Program
Posted by on October 13, 2008
The Home Depot and United Way have teamed up to launch the 2008 Community All-Star Program.
The Community All-Star program recognizes one individual who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in community service and who has devoted their time and efforts to make long-lasting contributions to their local community. This individual stands out from their peers through their dedication to community service, commitment to local charities and an overall desire to improve the lives of people less fortunate than themselves.
In 2007, Michele Collet-Kriz from Tampa, FL was honored as the Community All-Star. This year, The Home Depot and United Way want to know how you or friends are volunteering to help make a difference in your community. Consumers can nominate themselves or a friend now through November 30, 2008.
The winner will receive an all-expense paid trip for two to Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa Bay, Florida and will also participate in an All-Star community refurbishment project with NFL players in Tampa Bay during the week of Super Bowl XLIII. There can only be one Community All-Star so enter now!
