2005 Generations United Intergenerational

We are pleased to announce the 2005 Generations United Intergenerational Photography Contest sponsored by MetLife Foundation. The contest is for the best intergenerational photo taken by a younger or older person, of younger and older people together and should demonstrate the importance of intergenerational connections. The purpose of the contest is to capture the power and beauty of intergenerational relationships; and to convey the important roles that younger and older people play in each other’s lives.
* Grand Prize is $250 and a trip to Washington, DC to attend Generations United’s biannual international conference awards banquet
* Second place is $100
* Third place is $50
The leading categories are:
* Celebration of Diversity
* Emotional Expression
* Humorous Situations
* Intergenerational Activity Portrayed
* Emerging Talent
Entries for the contest must be postmarked to Generations United no later than July 31, 2005. The contest is open to children and youth up to 21 years of age, and adults over the age of 50. Only amateur photographs will be considered for purposes of the contest.
