2004 National Charter Schools Conference

I am pleased to announce two outstanding speakers for the 2004 National Charter Schools Conference, Ms. Laura San Giacomo and Former U.S. Congressman, the Reverend Dr. Floyd H. Flake.
The National Charter Schools Conference will provide an opportunity for individuals involved with charter schools to come together to share their knowledge and experiences. The conference will attract a wide array of charter school leaders?from experienced operators to authorizers, legislators to researchers, state association leaders to policymakers, and teachers to parents. The twin goals of this intensive, highly interactive two day conference are to identify ways to grow the movement by expanding to the final ten states lacking a charter school law and by strengthening existing charter school laws, as well as discussing ways to boost the quality of charter schools throughout the nation.
