2002 Northeast Regional Conference: A Forum for Progressive Action

The conference begins with a dinner plenary at 5:30 pm on Thursday, June 27, and ends Friday afternoon, June 28.

Participants will examine the 2002 legislative sessions, discuss and develop progressive policy solutions and strategies for future legislative sessions, and share innovative models that work throughout the Northeast (Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont).

Scott Harshbarger, President of Common Cause, will be the keynote speaker at Thursday’s dinner plenary. David Cantor, Senior Analyst at the polling firm Lake Snell Perry, will also speak.

This conference is quite affordable ($50 and includes meals and conference materials) and will highlight election reform and revenue & budget strategies.

Scholarships for travel and hotel expenses will be provided on a limited basis.

Deadlines:
Hotel reservations must be made as soon as possible.
Scholarship applicants must register with CPA as soon as possible.
All participants must register with CPA by June 20, 2002.
