What is Environmental Justice (EJ)?
EJ is the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race, color, national origin, or income with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies.
Who Should Attend This Conference?
* Residents of Environmental Justice Communities
* Grass Roots and Community Organizations in or serving residents of environmental justice communities
* Government officials at the federal, state, county, city and township levels who are interested in learning more about environmental justice
* Members of non-governmental agencies, academia, public health, and private sector.
