16th Annual Walk+Run Against Hunger set for April 14th
The 16th Annual Walk+Run Against Hunger will be held this year on Saturday, April 14th. Proceeds from the event help more than 100 food pantries, soup kitchens and hunger-relief agencies in Southeastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey.
The scenic 5K Walk starts and ends at the Art Museum. The Run is one of the first races of the spring season, and winners will receive prizes from Philadelphia Runner. Fun games, face painting and more will also be available for kids of all ages, including free hot dogs and snacks, plus entertainment and raffle prizes.
