15th Annual Champions of Caring Recognition Program
WE NEED YOU
to join us in recognizing the leaders, innovators, and teen activists in our community- our Champions of Caring!
In light of the negative attention placed on flash mobs and youth violence, join us as we celebrate inspirational teens who are making a difference locally and globally.
On May 20th, Champions of Caring will honor 75 teens from throughout the greater Philadelphia region for their commitment to service and social justice.
Speakers and Honorees Include:
* Students from public, private, and Archdiocesan high schools who will be honored as Champions for their service
* Students from the Ambassadors of Caring Leadership Program
* Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey
* District Attorney Seth Williams
* Drexel University Vice President Joan McDonald, presenting a $50,000 Champions of Caring scholarship
DATE: Thursday May 20, 2010
TIME: 4:00pm -5:15pm
The program will be followed by a reception from 5:15-6:00pm
