Posted by Global Citizen on July 16, 2019
Our Tuesday, July 30, 11th annual Beer Summit on Race is fast approaching and will bring together a diverse cross-section of our community to address this year’s topic: Anti-Racism: Deconstructing White Fragility & Responsibility.
Please register here to participate in this annual community conversation, which will take place at Reading Terminal Market in Center City. Registration starts at 6:30 pm, with the program beginning at 7 pm.
Seating is limited and the event is free. We will provide the beer (alcohol & non-alcohol), soft drinks, food and more.
Our conversation will be facilitated by two friends of Global Citizen– Hugh Taft-Morales, head of the Philadelphia and Baltimore Ethical Societies and Rev. Steven Lawrence from White Rock Baptist Church, who also serves as board chair of NewCORE (New Conversation on Race and Ethnicity).
