On behalf of Project HOME’s Employment Services Team, we would like to invite you to participate in our 10th Bi-annual Fall 2019 Job Fair. There is no registration fee, this is a FREE job fair for recruiters and employers from all industries. We typically have a turnout of 250 job seekers. The event will take place on:
Thursday September 26, 2019
10:00am to 2:00pm
Held at our:
Honickman Learning Center & Comcast Technology Labs
Wilt Chamberlain Auditorium
1936 N. Judson Street
Philadelphia, PA 19121
Philadelphia, PA 19121
This is a public fair, and will be advertised through our networks. As always, the first hour of the fair will be open to our immediate community. These are job seekers who have attended our trainings, prep classes and have been pre-vetted by us. These folks are our highly recommended pool of candidates, which we can put our seal of approval on as being qualified candidates for opportunities that you are presenting. At 11:00am, the doors will open to the public.
In order to secure your spot at the fair, please complete the registration form (email [email protected] to get the form). There is room on the form to indicate number of attendees in your party, and positions that you are hiring for. Please be as accurate as possible with people attending, as we provide FREE food for employers. We ask that employers arrive 30-60 minutes prior to the start of the fair. Please return your registration form promptly. Also, as an extra reminder, following this email will be a calendar invite. Please RSVP as soon as possible.
In addition to the Career Fair, please indicate on your registration form your interest in:
· Assisting job seekers with their resumes in our computer lab, scheduled to take place on the day of the Fair
Please confirm ASAP whether you will be able to attend and if you would be interested in volunteering for the resume workshop. Email form back to: [email protected].
Once we receive your registration form, you will be emailed additional information including directions to our facility and parking information. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call me at 215-235-2900 x6102.
As you may know, the Honickman Learning Center & Comcast Technology Labs was built in 2004 in order to provide education and employment opportunities to the North Philadelphia Community. The mission of the Project HOME community is to empower adults, children, and families to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty, to alleviate the underlying causes of poverty, and to enable all of us to attain our fullest potential as individuals and as members of the broader society. By recruiting your employees from our neighborhood and providing stable jobs that support local families, you can be part of the solution.
Thank you for supporting Project HOME’s Empower to Employ 2019 Job Fair!
