<p>Job Description<br />
The Operations Manager reports to the Executive Director and the Board of Directors. The Operations Manager has responsibility for the Virtual Assistant, Pantry Manager and all volunteer staff</p>
<p>Essential Responsibilities<br />
• Supervising weekly operations of picking recipes, ordering food, assigning volunteers, order-taking, delivery and inventory updates<br />
• Attracting and coordinating volunteers to staff all day-to-day operations (4-5 teams of delivery drivers, 1 weekly team of 3 for pantry packing)<br />
• Maintain relationship with local school administration to attract and maintain integrity of member families’ participation in Zia’s programs<br />
• Maintain relationship with partner organizations<br />
• Coordinate social media and marketing efforts<br />
• Maintain and expand relationships with donors and potential donors<br />
• Field all contact with Zia from interested volunteers, donors and staff<br />
• Organizational skills are a must, including the ability to multitask<br />
• Excellent written and communication skills<br />
• Ability to keep a variety of people/organizations coordinated and informed<br />
• Ensure a culture of respect and understanding regarding the member families Zia serves to build trust and the ability to impart this culture among volunteers and partner organizations</p>
<p>Working Conditions<br />
1. Part time position, 16-20 hours a week<br />
2. Majority of position is remote after first month of orientation<br />
3. Availability to be on site in Philadelphia for Produce/Grocery Pickup on Friday mornings and Pantry Packing/Delivery on Saturday mornings if volunteer shortage<br />
4. Occasional lifting of produce boxes, groceries, loading into cars for delivery, when volunteer shortage<br />
5. Tracking of time required</p>
