										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House on Chestnut Street has a unique opportunity for two mature, responsible individuals with great people skills and good judgment. The House Management Associates provide assistance to the Managers on Duty on a part-time basis.</p>
<p>The hours of the two available positions are:</p>
<p>Day Associate: 10a -3p, Monday &#8211; Friday<br />
Evening Associate: 4p – 9p, Sunday &#8211; Thursday</p>
<p>Duties include, but are not limited to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Providing general and administrative assistance to the Manager on Duty and collaborating on special projects as assigned;</li>
<li>Interviewing prospective families who wish to stay in the House and inputting their information into our guest database;</li>
<li>Checking families in and out of the House</li>
<li>Providing ongoing orientation, training and deployment of volunteers; welcoming and orienting volunteer dinner groups and other volunteer service groups/individuals</li>
<li>Continually monitoring the condition of the facility and reporting any condition, safety or behavior issues to the appropriate person/department;</li>
<li>Receiving donations and providing an appreciative, enthusiastic reception to donors; providing House tours to visitors, donors and other guests</li>
<li>Managing the material donations we receive and making sure they are processed, inventoried and utilized to the best benefit of our families</li>
<li>Keeping the front office organized and fully stocked with supplies and forms</li>
<li>Managing family records, ensuring files contain required information and documentation, and filing/storing them appropriately</li>
<li>Keeping guest database updated with payments and other information that requires regular input</li>
<li>Designing and distributing event flyers and managing the distribution of event tickets and passes</li>
<li>Preparing both recurring and ad hoc reports for management as needed</li>
<li>Ensuring that all complimentary hospitality items are stocked at all times</li>

<p>Ronald McDonald House Charities aims to improve the health and well-being of children through direct programming and partnerships with other nonprofit organizations around the world that are making an immediate, positive impact on children. RMHC takes a holistic, family-centered approach to bridging access to care and is interested in partnering with organizations that have a similar philosophy.</p>
<p>To that end, the RMHC Global Grant program supports sustainable replicable projects that are national or global in scope. Projects must include a train-the-trainer component and address issues related to children’s healthcare.</p>
<p>To be eligible, organizations must be based in the United States, be able to demonstrate proven outcomes, and have strong partnerships with key stakeholders. RMHC will only consider organizations whose project methodology involves a comprehensive ethnographic approach to research, program development, program implementation, and evaluation.</p>
