Position Overview: This dual role serves as a second on our Finance team, and a primary in our HR team, with unlimited access to a dedicated HR consultant via Paychex. The role is split equally in time anticipated for each.

The Finance Assistant works closely with the Finance Director to ensure smooth execution of essential financial functions of the nonprofit, including payroll, accounts payable, expense administration, receipt management, and interacts with OCCCDA’s Property tenants, Program staff, and Program funding sources.

The Human Resources Administrator oversees core HR functions, including onboarding and documentation, benefits administration, HR systems (Paychex and Flock), compliance and employee relations, and support for professional development and conflict resolution. The HR Administrator also maintains clear communication with staff and vendors to ensure HR processes are accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational policies.

for planning and implementing the activities of the STEAM-based After School Program & daytime
Summer Camp, in compliance with our 21st Century grant requirements. The school-year program is
Mondays–Fridays, 3:00–6:00pm. Summer Camp is Mondays–Thursdays, 9:00am-3:00pm for six (6)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

COMMUNITY OUTREACH (10 hours)

• Provide support in the sharing of resources to the local community including food, diapers, toys, etc.
• Supervise employees and volunteers that support the food distribution program.
• Manage food inventory, calculate the number of items that will be packaged in each box per week.
• Manage and update the food distribution spreadsheet on a weekly basis.
• Create weekly schedules for staff and volunteers.
• At the end of each distribution, assure that the area is clean, organized and prepared to welcome shipment.
• Pick-up resources including food, diapers, and other donations on an as needed basics.
• Ensure our programs and events incorporate our mission of meeting people’s holistic needs.
• Provide support for special events including festivals, volunteer events, and other community events.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT (20 hours)

• Assist individuals in the Oxford Circle community and those within OCCCDA’s programs with support and resources to find a job and referrals to education and training opportunities.
• Network and outreach to businesses and organizations in the community and Philadelphia that have job and training opportunities.
• Develop and teach workshops on resume writing, job search, interviewing and soft skills.
• Work with businesses to provide job placement after internship or training program is completed.
• Work with the Community Relations Manager to develop job training programs.
• Share job and training opportunities with Community Relations Manager to post on a regular basis.
• Provide general support to Workforce Development Program focusing on job development and placement.

Rate is $12/hour.

Time commitment:  Approximately 17.5 hours per week

Job responsibilities:

• Help maintain a safe, clean and quality program
• Supervise daily activities of children specifically in regards to assigned group
• Establish positive relationships with all staff, program participants and their families

POSITIONS SUPERVISED: Group Leaders, instructors, and volunteers in out of school time programs

SUMMARY: The 21st CCLC Out of School Time Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing the activities of the Out of School Program (School year – Mondays – Fridays from 3:00-6:00pm and Summer – Mondays – Thursdays 9:00-3:00pm for six weeks). Salary commensurate with experience. ($17.50/hour paid in monthly installments by your choice of check or direct deposit. Benefits include ($250/month, sick leave, annual vacation starting at 2 weeks and 3 personal days.)

TIME COMMITMENT: 35 hours per week

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

▪ Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (or equivalent) and five (5) year experience working with children and youth. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
