I’M HOME (Innovations in Manufactured Homes) is a 10 year old national initiative of CFED designed to unlock the potential of high quality manufactured housing as a key source of affordable housing and asset-building for low- and moderate-income families. As an initiative and a Network, we seek to improve access to quality homes and communities, support favorable public policies and make safe and affordable home financing more accessible. A lot has changed in 10 years, and we’re looking forward to celebrating the growth of this field, working through the remaining challenges preventing owners of manufactured homes from building wealth through homeownership, and continuing to identify new ways to leverage factory-built housing to meet our nation’s affordable housing needs.

Why attend? This event brings together affordable housing developers, lenders, government agency staff, policymakers, industry experts, homeowners, community organizers, researchers, funders and more each year. As an attendee, you’ll get to network with others in the field, learn from experts and share your expertise with other participants. Sessions, workshops and plenaries will cover issues from home and installation quality, to community preservation, to public policies and mortgage finance, overlaid with a range of cross-cutting issue areas like energy efficiency, health, financial security and asset-building, equitable metropolitan development, transit, and more.

There’s something for everyone.
