Our goal is to help campuses develop better practices for student voter engagement and minimize the impacts of potential campus barriers based on the results of the study.

The National Student Voting Study will be running this semester! Participating campuses will receive their own copy of the Student Voting Survey via Qualtrics and will have the opportunity to add campus-specific questions at the end of the survey! For campuses that do not have Qualtrics, we have a limited number of licenses that we are sharing with those campuses.

The study includes a brief survey where student participants are asked to share their voter experiences and evaluate the impact of various factors on their likelihood to register and vote in previous elections. Additionally, respondents may choose to participate in a follow-up interview with Campus Vote Project study staff focused on civic and political conversations, activities, and experiences among students.
