Submissions across all academic disciplines are welcome on topics related to community-based learning and service learning. For example, what does a successful community-based learning assignment in your discipline look like? What are the different ways to assess students’ learning experiences in community-based learning assignments? How can we build effective partnerships with community organizations?

We seek pieces that offer insight from specific teaching experiences as well as articles detailing research conducted about community-based learning. Book reviews related to community-based learning and service learning are also welcome.

Word limit: 3,000 words. MLA Citations, please. Submissions should be received by September 15, 2018 to Sheila Cordner at scordner@bu.edu.
