<p>Major Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead and supervise staff of five (5) including orientation, planning, organizing and directing work of Staff Accountant, Administrative Assistant, Operations Associate, Housekeeping Assistant, and Physical Plant Manager, while providing oversight of respective departmental functions;</li>
<li>Provide oversight of repair and maintenance needs at seven Bethesda Project housing sites;</li>
<li>Collaborate with Program Directors in the preparation annual contract renewals for government contracts, as needed;</li>
<li>Manage vendor relationships including, researching, analyzing, and recommending cost saving measures from vendors and contracts for utilities, maintenance, services, operating and office supplies, etc.; and</li>
<li>Review and audit operating supply inventory systems in place across the organization to promote efficiency and reduce loss.</li>

<p>Skill/Educational Requirements</p>
<ul>
<li>Master’s degree, or equivalent, preferred;</li>
<li>Minimum 3 years of management and/or supervisory experience;</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills; and</li>
<li>Computer literacy; proficient use of Microsoft Office.</li>
</ul>
<p>Physical Requirements</p>
<p>Requires repetitive movement of hands and fingers for typing and/or writing. Frequent standing, sitting, walking and climbing stairs, occasional stooping, kneeling or crouching and lifting up to 20lbs. <p>Organizational Overview:</p>
<p>Bethesda Project serves Philadelphia&#8217;s homeless and formerly homeless men and women through its network of fourteen residential and shelter settings. <p>Major Responsibilities:</p>

<p>The Program Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day operation of the program. The Program Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of program operation including: staffing, budget control/monitoring, and coordinating physical plant maintenance.</p>

<li>Complete and maintain staff schedule for the program and arrange for substitute coverage as necessary.</li>
<li>Review timecards for accuracy and submit to Human Resources in a timely fashion.</li>
<li>Hold regular staff meetings to promote communication and team-building while addressing resident needs and house safety.</li>
<li>Oversee use of program log book, including personal daily entries.</li>

<p>Residential Program:</p>
<ul>
<li>Adhere to Bethesda Project admissions process, including reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and maintaining a current waiting list to ensure program functions at capacity.</li>
<li>Oversee case management of residents, including facilitating weekly case management meetings, monitoring case management work flow including system, and prioritizing Case Manager work tasks as resident needs dictate.</li>
<li>Utilize system to maintain current records for program residents, including the creation and termination of episodes, rent statements, volunteer coordination, and activity tracking of the admissions process.</li>
<li>Conduct regular meetings of the residents to encourage their participation in the life of the community and to offer them a forum for their opinions.</li>
<li>Welcome and host visitors, including volunteers. Supervise tasks as needed.</li>
<li>Maintain inventory and submit order for necessary operating and office supplies.</li>
</ul>
<p>Physical Plant:</p>
<ul>
<li>Ensure the overall safety of residents and staff.</li>
<li>Report maintenance needs and repair requests to Physical Plant Manager.</li>

<li>Submit monthly program report and rent roll report to Director of Housing and Business Manager, respectively.</li>
<li>Through supervision of the Case Manager, ensure resident files and medication logs are current and in good order.</li>
<li>Record any in-kind donations on appropriate forms and submit to Development Department.</li>
