Luther King, come watch and discuss At the River I Stand, a film about
the history of the 1968 sanitation workers’ strike in Memphis, and how
Dr. King was drawn into the scene and assassinated there.

Attention all students! You are cordially invited to attend the last
Student PHENND meeting of the year. The meeting is for all students who
are interested in community service, service-learning, social justice,
and/or student leadership. It will also be a great opportunity for
anyone who wants to meet students from other colleges and universities.

Each month we gather on a different campus, and hear from student
leaders about their activities and ideas. We will also talk about
various issues pertinent to student service leaders. This month we will
have a mini end-of-the-year celebration. Information about summer
internships and jobs will be available.

As always, there will be time for networking and sharing, as well as an
activity designed to improve leadership skills.
