Supervisor, Case Management Services, Women Against Abuse
Description:
Provide supervision, planning, and overall coordination of case management services for the women at the Emergency Shelter according to the philosophy, vision and mission of the Agency. Ensure that OSH, PCADV, and DPW regulatory and funding requirements. Directly supervise 6 Case Managers (4 Adult CM’s & 2 Children CM’s).
Additional Qualifications:
Qualifications:
• A MSW is required.
• Experience in direct service and/or advocacy, and knowledge of Philadelphia’s housing programs is required.
• 1 -2 years previous supervisory experience in social services is required.
• Domestic violence &/or residential setting is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in individual and group counseling is required;
• Experience in leading focused and unstructured groups required.
• Demonstrated excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills are required.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively represent an advocacy agency or function is required.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse population is required.
• Demonstrated commitment to service of others is required.
• Bilingualism is strongly preferred.
• Must satisfactorily pass criminal (state & FBI) and child abuse clearances.
Hours: full time with core hours Monday thru Friday, 9 am – 5 pm, and as needed. Salary: commensurate with experience as well as a generous full benefits package.
