Director of Development and Marketing, EducationWorks

At EducationWorks (http://www.educationworks-online.org) the Director of Development and Marketing is responsible to secure financial resources to support organizational stability and growth, development of new programs, expansion of existing programs, and diversification of funding sources. The Director is also responsible to build and manage brand identity and all aspects of marketing communication to raise awareness of the agency and its programs throughout Phil region and nationally. The Director reports to the Executive Director, works closely with the Board’s Marketing and Development Committee, and is housed in the Lawrenceville, NJ office with frequent travel to and within Philadelphia.
Qualifications: Min 5 years of highly successful experience in marketing and development, preferably in a social service nonprofit; bachelor degree in a related field; strong commitment to supporting the achievement of urban school students and the mission of EducationWorks; at least 2 years of successful supervisory experience; expertise with Salesforce CRM software, Microsoft Office applications, social media, and related technology; demonstrated ability to motivate and provide proactive leadership, and work as part of a team; excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written); and, articulate, self-confident, personable, and engaging.
