Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dreamer

Saturday, April 24th, 12 Noon – 4:30 p.m.  (On-site registration begins at 11:30am)

Join West Chester University’s Sustainability Advisory Council and other co-sponsors for Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dreamer, an experiential workshop that explores ways of creating a world that is socially just, environmentally sustainable, and spiritually fulfilling.  Using dynamic video clips, participants hear from far-sighted community leaders—Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Julia Butterfly Hill, Van Jones, Paul Hawken and many more—on everything from the planet’s dwindling biodiversity to growing socio-economic gaps. The event also includes lively breakout groups and practical tools. Participants will leave the Symposium empowered to take clear steps to embody their vision for a better world, and having established new connections to work with others on common issues.
