Real Time Census Participation Website

You may be interested in how the data collection of census forms is going and how we, as a state or county, are doing. Please go to this area of the 2010 Census website:
http://2010census.gov/2010census/take10map/
From here, you can examine the participation rates or locate a Questionnaire Assistance Center. On the whole, the participation rates are as follows:
As of 4/1/2010 For the 2000 Census
——————————————
National 52% 72%
Pennsylvania 57% 76%
Philadelphia 41% 61%
As you can see, Philadelphia is lagging the national rate. There are many areas of the city that have great return rates and others that need to be encouraged to increase participation.
The “10 Questions” fact sheet emphasizes that $400 billion is distributed, in part, due to census data.
Please help by encouraging everyone to return their forms. If they haven’t received a form, or lost it, they can get another at one of the city’s Questionnaire Assistance Centers.
