Homework Helpers Organization Seeks West Philly Community Partners for Computer Lab projects
Homework Helpers, a 501 (c)(3) organization, is interested in providing under-served middle and high-school students with the tools to succeed in school and to perform effectively beyond. To accomplish this goal, Homework Helpers creates computer labs in community centers which are open at night and on weekends. These are fully equipped quiet spaces where students can access the internet and receive homework help from staff provided by the community center. We provide state-of-the-art Dell desk-top computers and printers (the number of each depends upon the size of the room). Homework Helpers is looking for community partners in the Philadelphia area with space for computer labs, staff to ensure proper use of the equipment, and unfettered access to members of the community.
