2010 Global Youth Service Day Webinar Series: The Reflection Connection & Twice the Impact – How Service Changes Youth and Community
Wednesday, March 3 at 3pm Eastern
Presenter: Susan Abravanel, Vice President of Education
In this two-part webinar, participants will begin by exploring the role of structured reflection in connecting young people to their schools, their communities and the world around them. Through reflection, children and youth consider how their service and learning experiences are related to their own lives, and their communities. This session will introduce resources and strategies promoting the development of effective reflection activities. Part Two of this webinar focuses on measuring the impact of service and service-learning in changing both young people and their communities.
