What does “green” mean for microenterprise development? Is there a role for training providers and microlenders? What is the field learning so far? This free 90 minute webinar demystify the facts about green businesses, how practitioners can help their clients develop green business strategies and emerging successful practices.
The webinars will be led by Liz Penney of Appalachian Community Enterprises, Inc., an SBA Microlender and CDFI. ACE has created Georgia Green Loans, an innovative statewide platform for green loans. She will be joined by Jason Friedman, Principal of Friedman Associates. He is a nationally known for his expertise in helping microenterprise development, CDCs, and CDFIs to increase effectiveness, performance and sustainability. The webinars are funded in part through a grant award with the U.S. Small Business Administration Program for Investments in Microentrepreneurs Program (PRIME).
