Request for Proposals: Early Career Pathways – Dec 14
Posted by Philadelphia Foundation on November 10, 2026
We are excited to announce the opening of the Early Career Pathways Request for Proposals (RFP). We invite Greater Philadelphia nonprofit organizations serving children and youth ages 11-18 to request funding for programs to help young people explore careers, prepare for career paths, and gain authentic work-based experience while in middle and high school.
Applications will also be considered from Philadelphia and surrounding counties (PA-Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery; NJ-Camden). Applicants may request support to expand a strong existing program, improve its quality or accessibility, connect activities into a distinct career pathway or post-secondary education or training, or test a promising approach grounded in community need.
Early Career Pathways aims to ensure that young people in Greater Philadelphia, who are too often excluded from opportunity, have the relationships, knowledge, credentials, and paid career-connected experiences to choose and pursue pathways aligned with their interests, earn family-sustaining wages, build wealth, and contribute to thriving communities.
Interested applicants should plan to attend our webinar via Teams on November 19, 2026 from 11 AM – 12 PM. Please use this link to join.
Proposals are due December 14, 2026.
