Free Library of Philadelphia: Join Our Community Engagement Committee
Posted by Free Library of Philadelphia on November 10, 2026
What does Philadelphia need from its libraries? What makes a library feel welcoming? And how can the Free Library help more Philadelphians connect with resources, opportunities, and one another?
If you’re interested in exploring these questions, we’d love to hear from you. The Free Library is accepting applications for a few additional community members to join its Community Engagement Committee, convened by the Library’s Board of Trustees.
Committee members are volunteers who bring community perspectives to conversations about the Library’s future. They help ensure the Free Library remains a welcoming, relevant, and helpful resource for the communities it serves.
