Volunteers Needed: Nonpartisan Poll Observers – Nov 3
Posted by Project 26 on October 27, 2026
Project 26 has been on the ground all year engaging students on campuses in PA in 14 key counties where we need support ensuring voters can cast their ballots at polling places that principally serve college voting precincts. We are recruiting nonpartisan Poll Observers to support young voters on November 3rd.
This volunteer role is in person and requires a minimum half-day commitment (7am – 2pm, 2pm – 8pm, or all day) as well as attendance at a virtual training. We do not have a budget for travel or lodging stipends.
Poll observers will be placed outside of key precincts to watch for, report, and triage issues voters have while attempting to vote (ex long lines, being turned away, electioneering, etc). This is a non-partisan role that *will not* involve talking to voters about who is on their ballot.
Questions. Contact Rachel Tait, Voter Protection Director, at rachel@p26pa.com.
