Fall 2026 Policy Symposium: Utility Insecurity as a Public Health Issue – Oct 30

Access to essential utilities, including water, electricity, heating, cooling, and cooking fuel, is a critical yet often overlooked determinant of health. Join us for a cross-sector conversation examining utility insecurity as a pressing public health challenge.
The symposium will feature a cross-sector panel discussion followed by interactive breakout sessions designed to examine the connections between utility access and health, foster meaningful dialogue, and identify policies and practices that can advance utility security.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to join a post-event working group to translate key insights and recommendations from the symposium into a policy brief aimed at advancing evidence-informed solutions.
