Student Leader Learning & Connection Space – Sep 22

Posted by Students Learn Students Vote on September 22, 2026

Students are the true experts in the nonpartisan student vote movement. That’s why Students Learn Students Vote (SLSV) is launching the Student Leader Learning & Connection Space. This is a safe space for student leaders from across the country to build confidence in their leadership, connect with peers from across the country, and strengthen the collective power of the #StudentVote movement. This isn’t a one-time event. The SLSV Coalition will convene these spaces periodically throughout this year and into next year, with different partners co-hosting each gathering and helping students learn from one another. Our hope is to help student leaders build the kind of network that so many of us rely on as campus and nonprofit professionals: a place to exchange ideas, troubleshoot challenges, and know who to call when you need support.

This month we’re excited to partner with APIAVote. Together, students will explore a variety of leadership styles, reflect on the strengths and perspectives each individual brings to the movement, and share strategies for navigating the challenges they face in reality. If you want to meet students with similar goals and interests, and build your network in a meaningful way, this Connection Space is for you.

It’s a great fit for students who are:

  • Fellows, interns, ambassadors, or student leaders working with a nonpartisan, nonprofit civic engagement organizations
  • Leading or contributing to the civic engagement or voter participation efforts on their campus
  • Involved in student organizations, including Greek life
  • Part of a campus voting coalition
  • Or new to civic engagement and looking to build their network

Date and Time: Tuesday, September 22, 2026, 6:00-7:00 PM

We’d love your help inviting the student leaders in your network to join us. To make that easier, we’ve pulled together email language that you can share with your students.

Register.
