CCP Catto’s Classroom Lecture Series – Sep 23,30 & Oct 7
Posted by Community College of Philadelphia on September 15, 2026
In honor of America’s Semiquincentennial and the legacy of Octavius Catto, Catto’s Classroom is a multi-part educational initiative that explores how education has advanced liberty, justice, and equity. Through interactive civic dialogues, participants will learn about underrecognized Philadelphia leaders, including Dr. Roberts Vaux, Constance Clayton, and Caroline LeCount.
Each session includes engaging discussion, free food, and exclusive giveaways, culminating in the Octavius Catto Legacy Conference in October.
Whether you are a student, educator, community member, professional, or emerging leader, we welcome your participation and perspective.
Dates and Times: September 23, September 30, and October 7; 3:30–5:30 PM
Location: Winnet Student Life Building, Community College of Philadelphia, 1700 Spring Garden Street, Philadelphia, PA
