Apply to join the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia’s (SBN) Montgomery County 2026 Food Saver Challenge made in partnership with Montgomery County. This campaign raises awareness about surplus and wasted food, offers practical resources to reduce food waste, and promotes sustainability among Montgomery County businesses and partners. We are excited to welcome Share Food Program and Mother Compost as service providers for this challenge. Together, we can make a meaningful impact on Montgomery County’s local food system.
The challenge is open to all food businesses in Montgomery County, PA, and cafes and coffee shops are highly encouraged to apply. Applications are being accepted until August 31, 2026. Both new and experienced businesses in food waste reduction are encouraged to apply. Up to ten businesses will be selected to participate and notified by September 8, 2026.
