FREE Penn Undergraduate Credits for Pennsylvania High Schoolers – Apply by Aug 23

Pennsylvania high school students can earn up to 8 undergraduate credits from the University of Pennsylvania through FREE Peer Tutor Training Courses.

Penn Graduate School of Education (GSE) and Thinkist, PBC have partnered to bring Thinkist’s math tutoring program to students in your school district.

Participants can also earn a certificate from Penn GSE and community service hours, strengthening their college applications and future career readiness.

Program Details:

• Penn GSE and Thinkist provide an evidence-based peer tutoring program that trains high school students in grades 10, 11, and 12 to become peer tutors.
• Students participate in 15 virtual, undergraduate class meetings outside of school hours (over 15 weeks).
• Students can choose the course day and time that works best for their schedule – afternoon, evening, and weekend options are available.
• Students earn community service hours by tutoring 1-hour a week (13-weeks).
• After a successful completion of each tutor training course students earn 4 undergraduate credits. Students can earn credit for 2 classes, for a total of 8 credits. After successful program completion students earn a certificate from the University of Pennsylvania.
• Fall tutor training courses run from September 7, 2026 to January 10, 2027.
