Temple & NBA Foundation: A Unique Opportunity for High School Students – Apply by Jul 31

In partnership with the NBA Foundation, this fall we are launching the STHM-NBA Foundation Pipeline Program, a program designed to prepare under-resourced, first-generation students for college and careers in the sport industry. Participants can earn up to six transferable Temple University college credits while still in high school, engage in exclusive sport industry experiences, receive mentorship from Temple faculty and industry professionals, and participate in career readiness workshops for free.

This is a free program for Philadelphia high school juniors and seniors who want to earn college credit, explore careers in sport, and build a future of possibilities

What You’ll Gain:

• Earn college credit – Earn up to 6 transferable college credits over two semesters by taking classes Mondays and Wednesdays at 4:00 PM.
• Experience college life – Take classes alongside Temple students and receive individualized support from STHM faculty & staff.
• Explore the sport industry – Visit collegiate and professional sport organizations and hear from guest speakers across a variety of careers in sport.
• Build college & career readiness – Participate in workshops on college admissions, resume building, networking, and communication skills.
• Develop your professional network – Build meaningful relationships with Temple students, faculty, and industry professionals.
