Posted by Philadelphia College Prep Roundtable on June 2, 2026

Please attend the Philadelphia College Prep Roundtable’s (PCPR) 2026 Spring Symposium, “From Degree to Career: What College Access and Success Professionals Need to Know About Today’s Workforce Landscape,” taking place on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Arcadia University (University Commons, Great Hall) in Glenside, PA.

As workforce demands continue to evolve, this year’s symposium will explore how we can better support students on their journey from college access to college completion and ultimately into meaningful, family-sustaining careers. The day will feature thought-provoking discussions on workforce trends, higher education’s role in preparing students for the future of work, and practical strategies for strengthening career readiness and workforce pathways.

Featured speakers include:

  • Heidi Tseu, Assistant Vice President for National Engagement, American Council on Education (ACE)
  • Dr. Kate Shaw, Executive Director, Pennsylvania State Board of Higher Education
  • Janai Raphael, Strategy Officer for Access, Lumina Foundation
  • Opening Remarks from Dr. Ajay Nair, President, Arcadia University

The symposium will also feature interactive breakout sessions focused on career services, workforce readiness, employer engagement, and helping students navigate pathways to career success.

This event will be valuable for professionals working in college access, student success, K-12 education, higher education, workforce development, and related fields.

Please consider joining us—and feel free to forward this invitation to colleagues, partners, and others in your network who may benefit from the conversation.
