PHENND’s 2nd Annual Job and Resource Fair – May 30

Background:

In 2025, the Trump administration and Elon Musk’s DOGE sought to eliminate AmeriCorps by abruptly shutting down programs, proposing to zero out its budget, and severely limiting access to staff and information. To that end, PHENND hosted an AmeriCorps Member Resource Fair last May to provide then- former and current members with career opportunities and much more.

Now, as another cohort of AmeriCorps members reach the scheduled end of their service terms, the Fair is returning! The 2nd Annual Job and Resource Fair will provide student loan counseling, resources for colleges/universities that match education awards, pathways into local, state, federal, and educational institution careers, upskilling through board training and service, community advocacy and volunteerism, and knowledge of Philadelphia’s past, present, and future to prospective and current AmeriCorps members.
