Program Coordinator

Reports to: CEO
Status: Part-Time 20-25 hours per week
Location: In-person required (Philadelphia)

Compensation: $28.00 per hour

About Mom Your Business

Mom Your Business (MYB) is an ecosystem builder advancing economic mobility through entrepreneurship. We connect entrepreneurs with a focus on Black and Brown women to education, execution support and capital through a structured pipeline of programs and partnerships.

Position Overview

The Program Coordinator is responsible for managing the execution and day-to-day flow of MYB’s programs and events. This role ensures that entrepreneurs move smoothly from initial engagement (events) into deeper programming (coaching, fractional support, and capital opportunities).

This is a hands-on, in-person role for someone who is highly organized, proactive, personable and comfortable managing multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Pipeline Coordination

  • Track participant engagement across MYB programs (events, coaching, fractional, etc.)
  • Support onboarding and communication with program participants
  • Maintain organized records and program documentation
  • Ensure follow-up and continuity between program stages

Event Management & Execution

  • Coordinate logistics for weekly 1 Million Cups gatherings
  • Support monthly mixers, annual pitch competition and special events
  • Manage registration, check-in and attendee experience
  • Prepare run-of-show documents and coordinate presenters
  • Handle event setup and breakdown (with support as needed)
  • Coordinate with venues, vendors and partners

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Manage scheduling and logistics for programs and events
  • Assist with email communication and follow-ups
  • Work with virtual admin support to ensure backend tasks are completed
  • Keep CEO informed of program status, timelines and needs

Social Media & Content Support

  • Capture content (photos/video) during events
  • Assist with posting and promoting programs on social media
  • Support storytelling efforts highlighting founders and program impact

Qualifications

  • 2+ yrs experience in program coordination, event management or related work
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience planning or supporting events (required)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Basic social media experience (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Tech comfortable (Google Workspace, Zoom, basic CRM tools)
