The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Network’s (HBA) Foundation is offering an outstanding opportunity to connect students with professionals in a virtual summer internship. This program provides young people around the world with early professional experience and insight into careers in healthcare.
The virtual internship is for rising high school juniors to college freshmen to participate in a virtual Summer internship offered by the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Foundation.
The HBA is a global leadership accelerator, talent pipeline, and business growth partner for the healthcare industry. Our members and Corporate Partners represent a global workforce of more than five million professionals.
The 2026 Virtual Summer Internship provides participants with exposure to several high-growth sectors, including:
- STEAM
- Communications & Social Media
- Digital Advancement
- Finance
Participants will engage in a variety of professional development modules designed to build a foundation for career success in healthcare:
- Professional Growth: Master classes with healthcare industry professionals, resume writing, and career development workshops.
- Hands-on Learning: Case studies and team projects presented to healthcare industry executives
- Guidance: Mentoring and workshops on interviewing and “telling your story.”
Eligibility & Application:
- Eligibility: Rising high school juniors through college freshmen are eligible to apply. Participants who successfully complete the program may receive a discretionary stipend.
- Application deadline: 15 April 2026
- Virtual Program Dates: 6 July – 6 August 2026
